The objective of the project is to develop safeguarding guidelines for Deaf young people who participate in events organized by European Deaf youth organizations or national organizations. The project aims to create a common understanding of the importance of these guidelines on the European and national levels and establish a standard approach that can be used by organizations across different parts of Europe. Through the project, the participating organizations will become acquainted with the guidelines, learn how to recognize and prevent abuse in any form, provide a safe environment, promote equality, and support participants in developing their own identities. The project also includes an implementation plan for the guidelines, training for youth workers, and an evaluation of the implementation activities to ensure that they are effective. By achieving these objectives, the project hopes to ensure the safety and well-being of Deaf young people at events organized by European Deaf youth organizations or national organizations.
