When we started working, some of the goals of the project were: - To create a portfolio that would put special emphasis on the concepts of discrimination, stereotypes, refugees, intercultural education and exclusion. - Strengthening the competences of youth workers in the context of international planning and implementation of effective educational activities. - Expressing the different dimensions of culture and their links to intercultural learning. - Discussion of social entrepreneurship and its use to raise awareness on the refugee crisis and also to involve volunteers in helping refugees. Looking at the objectives, we can confirm that we have been working towards achieving them throughout the project. The project had a strong impact on all participants and also on the local community in Bojnice. Thanks to the follow-up activities after the training, the participants presented in their local communities the final result of the training, thus exchanging information on the topic and helping to inform their communities about it. Based on the feedback from the participants, we are confident that we have provided them with practical insights on organising large events and helping refugees across Europe. In addition to the practical knowledge and skills we were able to pass on to the youth workers in the project, the project served as a good platform to create new contacts and networks. This will help the participants to organise a much bigger campaign in which refugees will be the target group.
