Objectives

The overall aim of the project is to increase the competencies of the participants in the field of robotic software and coding. 1-To learn the necessary software types to use Arduino boards. 2-Tp develop new software for robotic applications. 3-To learn the necessary software information to operate different sensors. 4-To show possible problems that may occur in software. 5-To raise awareness of teachers and students about the importance of coding. 6-To improve the quality of software in schools and coding centers.

Background

Technological developments and the changing understanding of education as a result of these developments require a human profile that produces technology and uses it effectively. In our country, we need teachers with sufficient coding knowledge in order to raise the generation with these qualities. The coding trainings received by Information Technologies teachers, who have an active role in the field of technology, are limited in terms of subject and scope. With this project, we aim to train our teachers to develop themselves by receiving advanced coding training, to transfer more information to our students studying at our schools, and to raise generations who are capable of technology and can make their own technology and their own programming. Especially Robotic studies have gained importance all over the world at the moment. With the training they received within the scope of this project, the teachers became skilled in Robotic applications and became capable of gaining these skills to the students as well. Students who have knowledge and skills in robotics and coding will be able to participate effectively in Robotic studies.
