Our school aims to increase the quality of teaching, reading and learning processes by using technology correctly. The technological tools in the school owned by our students are not only for having fun and spending time, but also for art, science and positive learning. We want to show that we support it. Our school aspires to be a leader in our region in the integration of innovative didactic and mobile technologies into the school curriculum and lesson plans. We want to develop a new total quality management system in our school that includes innovative assessment methods for learning involving digital technology.
The scarcity of software that can be used on smart boards and make lessons more efficient and the deficiencies in smart board applications of teachers trained with traditional methods prevent us from using these hardware efficiently. As a result of the analysis, survey (student, parent, educator) and teacher opinions in our school, our children's position against virtual risks and their ability to manage the time they spend in front of the screen in our school do not develop and to eliminate the deficiencies in order to become a conscious citizen of the digital world; Many problems, from cyberbullying to privacy issues, to the uncertainty of which information to trust on the internet, are in children, families and teachers; The new generation, who takes technology and the internet at the center of their lives and uses technology to have fun and spend time instead of learning, enable them to devote more time to science; Developing basic and transversal skills such as multilingualism and adding mobility to our students; We applied for this project in order to keep up with the rapidly changing Generation Z and to enable our teachers to learn about best practice approaches and practical examples for the use of technology in education.
