The main purpose of our project is to use information and communication technology tools more effectively to increase the quality of education and training processes. The project aimed to develop the skills of teachers with basic computer skills on how to use innovative ICT-based content, pedagogy and teaching in education. In addition, the sub-objectives targeted within the scope of the project were; -To realize the perspective purpose of FATIH project by using ICT tools in the most efficient way. - Observing examples of different countries in the use of ICT, - Establishing learning partnerships with schools in different countries, - Expanding our European network and developing the culture of Europeanness, - to improve the foreign language skills of our teachers. -To make our school a preferred school in our region. -Increasing the corporative positive atmosphere, -To make our teachers able to meet foreign cultures and develop their world vision - Increasing awareness of our students both in terms of technology and in terms of Europeanness, -To make our teachers participate in lifelong learning processes.
The fact that technology is in life requires revision in education.The successful use of technology in education depends not only on its accessibility and different adaptations,but also on the technology literacy of the people who use it.In order to improve technology literacy among our teachers,students and administrators,the theoretical framework should be expanded by focusing on smart board and web2 tools in the first place.There is a need for educators who know how to use it and its integration into the curriculum.Despite the local trainings,our teachers,who are generally senior,do not have enough experience and knowledge in pedagogical use of smart boards and ICT tools that can be used before,during and after the lesson;47 In the ICT survey we applied to our teachers, 77% of them do not know the ICT tools that can be integrated into the course 90% stated that addressing different senses is important 58% say they have monotonous lessons away from creativity in the class. 95% do not have enough knowledge about web2 tools. 83% of them stated that they could not develop ICT-based course equipment and plan. For these reasons and also in order to strengthen the European dimension of our school, we wanted to realize this project.
