1-To get to know the learning processes of gifted students better. 2-To differentiate and enrich the curriculum of gifted students in line with the interests and needs of the students. 3-To have information about the project-based learning model, its principles and stages and to use the project-based learning model actively in the lessons. 4-To integrate the project-based learning model into the curriculum of gifted students. 5-To educate productive students who are interested in knowledge and innovation and have the power to think critically and creatively. 6-To increase the number of national projects developed by gifted students studying at the institution. 7- To encourage students to develop international projects and ensuring that new projects are carried out 8-To bring the educational quality of gifted students to European standards 9-To produce new projects within the scope of the continuation of the Erasmus+ program, in order to cooperate with Europe and improve the institutional capacity. 10-To lead other BİLSEMs in the province with the studies and activities to be carried out after the project on the subject of the project.
Educational activities in our institution, which operates in the field of gifted student education, are carried out in accordance with the Science and Art Centers Directive and the objectives of the 2019-2023 Institutional Strategic Plan. In our institutional strategic plan, it is aimed to increase the quality of education in order to raise students as well-equipped individuals who can adapt to the developed world, and to strengthen the institutional capacity in order to provide more qualified education-training activities. Based on these objectives, our institution staff had participated in online and face-to-face courses, seminars, congresses and workshops on the education and curricula of the gifted students until the project activities started. However, it has been observed that some problems related to the planning and quality of these activities are insufficient to enable gifted students to use their capacities at the highest level. In order to eliminate this deficiency and to realize the objectives in the Institution's Strategic Plan, the needs of the institution were determined with needs analysis and a project application was made in line with the project objectives determined based on these needs.
