Based on all this information, our teachers; With the project "3-dimensional modeling, use of three-dimensional printers" participating teachers could design three-dimensional models by learning three-dimensional modeling programs; three dimensional Knowledge of printers' usage areas, working principles, technical specifications, hardware and software their professional knowledge and skills by getting qualified training on being able to print from these printers. Our project, which was carried out with the aim of using 3D printers and integrating them into the curriculum, was divided into two activities. The project, which was carried out under the leadership of Tokat Provincial Directorate of National Education, was based on the use of technology. It was aimed to support the professional development of our teachers by following the latest trends in education, and Information Technologies.
Our Ministry of National Education established Design Skills Workshops in schools within the scope of 2023 Education Vision. Within the strategic plan of the Ministry for the years 2019-2023, it was planned that these workshops would be established in all schools at the end of the planned period. Our city is the first city where the first of the design and skill workshops specified in the 2023 vision document and urgently recommended to be established in schools were established. We have been a leading institution in the establishment and dissemination of these workshops (https://www.kisa.link/MMi5). The schools with three-dimensional printers where workshops have been established were chosen as partners. However, these printers were nor effective in education. Professional knowledge and skills of our teachers were not at a sufficient level in order to be able to use them in an adequate way. Therefore, there had been a need for in-service training on dimensional modeling and the use of 3D printers. Good practices was seen on-site with on-the-job observation activity, and in the field of 3D printing with course activity. The project was created to increase the number of qualified personnel in the field of 3D modelling,and printing.
