Moreover we wanted; -to increase the staff capacity by improving the teacher qualifications of our school, - strengthen the international dimension of our school and establishing international networks and collaborations with this project, -to reduce student absenteeism, -to enrich the educational life of our disadvantaged students, -to increase the LGS success rate of our school, -to increase the English proficiency of our teachers.
Since Z generation students were born into the digital world of the 21st century, it was not possible to attract and prompt their attention with traditional learning methods and teaching approach. In our school, where the students are Z generation, the teachers are Y and Millennium X generation individuals, through needs analysis, we have determined that one of the most important reasons why our students have not acquired 21st century skills adequately is the inadequacy of the teachers. Unlike teachers who have adopted the traditional approach,We realized that we need teachers who develop their students with skills that prepare them for the future, such as creativity, problem solving, collaboration, critical thinking, the use of knowledge and communication technologies, as well as academic skills. Based on this fact, we realized that we needed to be a mentor to students in order to introduce them to flexible teaching experiences, to enable them to develop in line with their interests, and to enable them to be valuable members of the 21st century, the age in which they live. This project was applied to develop the 21st century skills of teachers who have a fundamental role in student learning, success and social and emotional development in order to develop the 21st century skills of our students.
