With the implemention of the project we wanted to achieve that; For teachers, -They expertise their knowledge in coaching system -They have the opportunity to observe the application of cultural interaction system on thespot-check -They exchange ideas about how to adopt the system in ourcountry -They internalize the strategies that can be used in coaching system -They develop vocational and language skills, gain European point of view -The trainings taken in host countries become widespread all over the provinces of Trabzon by teachers commissioned by National Education Directorate -They contribute to development of education vision of ourschools For Students, -In schools where the coaching system is used in a truly way, the difference between students' academic success level decrease -The ability based education's aims become organised - Coaching help students to find the right way for themselves and give way them to make effort when taking decisions about their educational lives -Students aren't only exam oriented but also more organised at life.They become mentally, emotionally well qualified,self-fulfilled and have a place in the world as a world man's point of view -Students gain European point of view and 21th century skills
Within the horizontal priorities of the Erasmus+ programme, “acquisition of relevant and high quality skills and competences: supporting individuals in the acquisition and development of key competences (including basic, transversal and soft skills, entrepreneurship, foreign language and digital skills) in order to increase employability, socio-educational and professional development” is 1st place. With this project, It is aimed that our teachers gain coaching skills to ensure that our students develop their basic, transversal and soft skills within the above-mentioned horizontal priorities and self-knowledge, get support for the positive development of school life, family life and social life within the framework of the principle of trust and confidentiality, increase their academic success, reduce disciplinary problems and set goals. So there has been a need for experts on this academic Coaching system. We applied for the project in order for the teachers of schools selected as consortium members to receive a direct professional training support to Student Coaching, to make the coaching services more qualified and to expand the coaching system for students by participating in the international courses.
