We wanted to develop our students professionally, linguistically and individually. In addition to this, we wanted to equip our students with professional knowledge and skills in direct proportion to the demand of qualified staff needed by the sector. With the internships made, our students have overcome their shortcomings and increased their practical skills. At the same time, the capacity to establish foreign cooperation with our project has been gained thanks to the cooperation made and thus, the capacity of our institution has been increased and it has been ensured to establish multi-faceted partnerships. Our goal to increase the number of personnel who actively use the foreign language, experience abroad and acquire foreign colleagues was also achieved with this project.
The needs for the development plan and partnership of the European Union have been determined and our project has been prepared in line with these needs. Together with the European Union project, the school-industry cooperation activities have reached a level to increase. We have increased the number of students who design in the computer environment before the steel construction welded manufacturing thanks to these internship activities. We have reached the level of being able to train qualified intermediaries to businesses, we have equipped them with professional skills by eliminating the deficiencies that our students hear in this field, and we have developed their professional skills. In addition, our students applied for this project to increase their language skills and individual development. In addition, the capacity to establish foreign cooperation that we target with our project has been gained thanks to the cooperation and thus our institution’s capacity has been increased and it has been ensured that it establishes multi-faceted partnerships.
