Objectives

Thanks to the project; To strengthen the entrepreneurial aspects of our students, To have opportunities to develop their professional and personal development independently of the project, To increase our students' self-confidence, motivation and the importance they attach to their education, To increase the teaching quality and innovation of our school staff, To improve the foreign language level of the participants, To develop our educational content and teaching methods, At the end of the internship, to make the gains known with documents and certificates, We wanted to develop our transnational partnership network that would enable us to take advantage of ErasmusPro opportunities, which offer strategic partnerships and long-term internship opportunities. In addition, by implementing the project, we wanted our students, who received vocational training in the fields of Metal Technologies, Furniture and Interior Design, to strengthen their professional qualifications for computer-aided manufacturing, to be able to use CAD-CAM and CNC machines, to gain work experience, and to benefit from employment opportunities in our region by strengthening their professional and personal competencies.

Background

With the rapid change and development of technology, mass production has become impossible without the use of computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) technologies in almost every sector. This situation necessitates the strengthening of vocational training for computer aided manufacturing. Although computer-aided design is tried to be taught to our Furniture and Metal Technology students in our school by using AUTOCAD and SOLIDWORKS programs, computer-aided manufacturing (CAM, CNC) machines as a modern technology cannot be shown due to their high costs. Our students graduate with only theoretical knowledge on this subject. As a natural consequence of this situation, our students cannot benefit from the job opportunities in our immediate environment, causing them to experience employment difficulties in their field of education. A project application has been made for our Metal Technologies and Furniture and Interior Design students to be able to use CNC and CAM machines and to improve their employability levels by gaining work experience.
