Objectives

By implementing the project, we wanted our students to do an internship on 'Dish Preparation Processes of Basic Ingredients'. We wanted to increase the professional competence of our students in the international arena by planning internship mobility in developed institutions in Europe, to enable them to see the innovations in Europe and learn on-site, to ensure their social and cultural development, to increase their foreign language skills and thus to facilitate their employability. We planned and implemented an internship abroad in order to contribute to the global growth of our school, which is one of the most experienced schools in our country in training chefs, by gaining a place in the international platform.

Background

Our school is an institution specialized in culinary education, located in the Bolu district of our country, which is famous for its chefs. We applied for the project in order to increase the quality of education of our school and move it to an international dimension. With the abroad project, we aimed for our students to gain international skills and to be easily employed in the sector with the skills they acquired. We wanted our participants to improve their foreign languages and become well-equipped individuals who can adapt to the innovations of the developing world. We applied for our project with the aim of enabling our participants to learn trending issues in Europe, increasing the competencies of our staff by carrying out international projects, and improving our institutional capacity through project participation.
