It was aimed to improve their foreign language skills and get to know different cultures in Europe, in accordance with EU standards, motor vehicles technical services; to see the advanced technologies, innovations, methods and applications used in Europe on site by doing their internship in the fields of "Electro-hydraulic control unit, Mechatronics Unit, Electronic Unit, Electronic Control Unit" in Automatic Gear Boxes, fault detection, repair, adjustment and maintenance. gain experience, increase their practice and develop their professional skills by participating in the practices. With the project, it is aimed that students transfer the knowledge and experiences they have learned, the new methods and good practices they have learned to our country, and share them with their colleagues and industry in our region and our country, with their applications in schools and businesses, and dissemination activities.
With the continuous development of technology, technological developments are experienced in many areas and new inventions and innovative systems make our lives easier. Modern vehicles equipped with innovative systems in the automotive sector also force the employees in this sector to follow the technological developments and renew themselves. Automobile companies have developed new generation gearboxes (Automatic transmissions) in response to market supply and demand balances. Automatic transmissions have a very complex structure. Maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of Automatic Gear Boxes are carried out by special services and expert mechanics. The number of services and mechanics is very low in our province and country. Existing services and technical personnel are often insufficient. Workshops are sufficient in our school. This project was prepared to meet the needs of our school to know the EU dimension in motor vehicle technology and to get information about technological innovations and also to see good and new practices applied in parallel with the latest technological innovations in automatic transmission fault detection, maintenance and repair in Europe, getting information, applying, improving professional knowledge and skills of our apprentice students.
