Objectives

Our project aim; By bringing together young people from different countries, it has been to develop different perspectives on the disability problems faced by young people globally by working to enable young people with different disabilities to develop Empathy against the obstacles they encounter in their social lives. To conduct various workshops on the problems faced by the disabled. At the same time, experiences were shared in each participating country on the approaches and government policies in their own countries, and how children and young people were made aware of the disabled. In addition, it is possible to facilitate the high integration of our youth with all societies, to ensure that they are sensitive to universal problems, to raise awareness about the disadvantaged, to encourage their entrepreneurial spirit, to help them gain knowledge, skills and competence, to freely express their feelings of solidarity in Europe and in the wider world. Our mission is to provide a better understanding of the common European cultural diversity, our common heritage and our common values. The subject we deal with is to develop empathy in order to understand the disabled who are a part of the society and who are constantly confronted by us universally. With the "A Little Empathy" project, it was ensured that the participants included in the priority project and as a result of the dissemination activities, to raise awareness of the disabled in the society, to create social awareness, and to develop empathy and positive attitudes towards individuals with visual, hearing and orthopedic disabilities. Throughout our project, a series of activities were carried out to enable our participants to empathize with people with disabilities and how they might feel when they put themselves in the shoes of disabled people. In order to ensure permanent learning on the participants, the method of learning by doing was also used in our activities. Our young people, who develop empathy feelings by approaching the disabled with empathy and putting themselves in their shoes, will be in an effort to make the lives of the disabled people easier and integrate their lives into their lives in the future. An individual who can think empathetically cannot remain indifferent to the negativities around him, and behaves sensitively and sensitively. It respects the disadvantaged individuals with whom it lives and their rights. With the increase in the sense of empathy, the number of conscious people who have developed social sensitivity in the society will also increase. The most important is empathy; It will contribute to our youth to stay away from being in a prejudiced attitude, to be valued by the society, to be loved and promoted both in business and private life. By organizing activities for young people to do together, they were supported to enter areas where they can achieve personal and social development. Thus, young people had the opportunity to demonstrate their potential. Individuals who feel that they are part of a social structure have reached a level where they can actively participate in any work to be done in different fields.
