"COUNT ME IN" is a youth exchange project, to the young people with special needs who are in communication with disabled people in daily life and who have disability, to take advantage of the power of the camera, media and get the opportunity to specialize in using photos and videos while expressing their happiness, excitement, anger and emotions. We want to create learning opportunities by using non-formal learning methods to motivate these young people who are disabled or special needs, neglected by traditional school systems. In this context, we plan to create areas where participants will be informed about non-formal learning methods, Erasmus+ mobility and development opportunities during youth exchanges. We are 6 different countries as Turkey (coordinator), Poland, Hungary, Romania, Italy, Lithuania. Totally 36 participants (4 young people and 2 leaders) will be involved about media and photography. This Youth exchange will be realized at Samsun by SAMEF(The Disability Associations Federation). Our main activities will last 8 days. As a federation; thanks to the 8 days YE, we aim to; -Provide social inclusion of disabled people -Provide disabled people's voice heard via power of media -Share basic information about taking photos, video and media, -Use media to understand and learn cultural differences, -Improve the quality of life for the people with disabilities, -Learn to express ourselves by using our social skills and media, -Enable our participants to acquire IT skills to rise their employment, -Advance the daily life skills of our disabled people by using the media, -Use non-formal education technologies for people who cannot benefit from formal education The problem of disability may have several impressions in different countries, but it has common reasons that empower us against injustice. We want to make our voices heard and find solutions to problems. Our project promotes European values and all rights such as peace, dialogue, social inclusion, respect for different cultures, special support for disadvantaged youth. We aim to count in everyone to the community to fill the gap thanks to the media. Long term potential benefit of our project as a result of project activities: *One of the doors will be opened for youth projects for disabled people to be realized in Samsun *Will be able to plan to realize the awareness of young people about disability and to include disabled people in society. *As a bridge in achieving 2020 talents such as multi-tasking thinking, creativity, analysis and reporting and teamwork that our young people can use through out their lives, more competent young people will be able to grow in line with our mission.
