Objectives

Our project aims to create a small connection between rural communities and urban communities supported by cultural, artistic and sportive activities by taking young people into account as a subject. For many of the participants, this means a look from where they earned a living at where they were born, a touch to the socio-cultural roots of the society in which they live, and socio-cultural empathy. For this reason, by evaluating young people as a subject, our project aims to create a small connection between rural and urban communities, supported by cultural, artistic and simple sporting activities. Participants were supposed to have been familiarized with the concepts of concrete or abstract cultural heritage in the villages that reflect the history and socio-cultural values of societies. In addition, social, cultural and sporting events have been planned in our project with examples from both village and urban cultures. The aim was both supporting the access of village youth to social, cultural and sporting activities through the participants, and for the participants to realize the place and level of such activities in the village culture. In our project, it is aimed that the participants will be selected from economically disadvantaged young people. These young people who are described under the title of Equity and Inclusion in the Erasmus+ program guide as "people with a low standard of living, low income" have difficulty meeting their own educational, social, cultural, artistic and sporting needs. They are at the risk of getting marginalized and shifting to the social risk group, and need secondary support to access the needs in question.
