It is essential for our school to train students who follow the latest technological developments, have certification in their fields, and are preferred by businessess. In line with the education provided abroad It is not only aimed to increase the knowledge and skills of our teachers and students, but also to increase the quality of our education with better equipped instructors and students. Our project tackles joint training activities with institutions abroad. Since the project includes on-the- job training of teachers abroad, it increases the competence of teachers in vocational education and training. In addition, it contributes to foreign language learning. Apart from monitoring activities our teachers, who accompanied students as their chaperons were able to work on future collaborations by coming together with the institutions they were hosted and other institutions in the region.
Our school's internationalization and quality strategy means to increase our education quality, to be recognized abroad with our institutions, students and graduates, and to integrate with equivalent institutions by applying international quality standards. Gölcük ŞVT MTAL within all international collaborations primarily aims to graduate “world citizens” who can be successful in a multicultural environment and global economy to increase academic and institutional cooperation and to become a world school, to increase the quality of education with schools in EU countries, cooperation, on-site education and cultural sharing which leads to transfer innovation, share good practices with teachers and gain experience of working abroad. Our school has also realized this project with the aim of representing our country in the best way in international platforms. Considering its maritime students takes charge in international companies after they graduate the school also aims to optimize the language proficiency of the students, to contribute to the better recognition of TR and the VET system in Europe, to be a member of international networks and to establish international classes by cooperating with institutions in different countries.
