Our school aims to train a world-class qualified workforce with Industry 4.0 skills and digital skills. In the study conducted by the Undersecretariat of Defense Industry to reveal the current situation of the Industry and Industry branches, it has been revealed that the province of Tokat has a strong potential in the production of machinery and mechanical parts from history, and the machinery production industry of our province has an important place throughout the country. However, with the digitalization in the sector, software and micro control circuits have gained weight in machine production, and the demand for qualified workforce with software knowledge and micro control circuit programming competence has increased. Therefore, by implementing this project, it is aimed that our school will keep up with the digitalization and technological developments in the world. Our students and teachers are included in the mobility activities. In countries such as England, Germany, Austria and Romania, where technological developments are high, students of our school are offered internship opportunities, while teachers are given the opportunity to observe on the job. Our aim here is to train new employees with technological knowledge to keep up with digitalization. In addition, it is aimed to develop our vocational education environments in accordance with technology in our school by ensuring the professional and personal development of our teachers.
The industry of the future will be shaped within the framework of the concept of Industry 4.0, which we hear frequently. This process, called the Fourth Industrial Revolution, is rapidly transforming all branches of the industry, especially machinery, manufacturing, software and electronics. Industry 4.0 has affected every layer of manufacturing with its elements such as data collection, classification, use, production and decision making. Especially in production, the human effect decreases and the machine effect increases through automation. In the new production trend called digital factories, there are machines and digital devices in every layer of the system. The working of the machines in harmony is carried out with micro control circuits. In Vocational Education, it is now inevitable to provide training on using and programming micro control circuits that will be encountered in every branch and process of the industry. In the digitalizing world, instead of large devices, machines can now be operated with commands sent by the phone in our pocket. Since the developments in the world are progressing in this direction, there has been a need for personnel in this field in the world. Our school has applied for a project of micro control circuits in order to meet the need for personnel in this field.
