We wanted language teachers in our partner schools to improve their language skills and feel confident to use a CLIL/soft CLIL approach to introduce ambitious content into language lessons at primary and secondary levels as well as the point of transition between the two. We wanted to increase their contact with the culture of the country whose language they teach and to provide opportunities to create international links for their schools.
We wanted more language teachers in the UK to benefit from the CLIL/soft CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) methodology and related resources created by the KA2 ELAPSE project (Embedding Languages across Primary and Secondary Education) in which ALL (Association for Language Learning) was a partner.
