To upskill young people, to provide them with an opportunity to take part in activities that they would not have had access to in the UK, which in turn increased their employability chances by providing the means to develop their self confidence, independence and learn transferrable skills to take to a UK employer. To promote inclusion by prioritising young people with fewer opportunities and offer them the opportunity to broaden their horizons. To motivate and develop staff to learn and keep up to date with new teaching methods and techniques whilst also sharing their experience and knowledge from their home country and develop international partnerships and further learning opportunities for their students and colleagues. To increase continued professional development of staff, in turn assisting employers to recruit and retain qualified staff by having the opportunity to offer international job shadowing opportunities.
The project aimed to offer international opportunities to students who had completed their studies to further their career development prior to entering the labour market. This was designed to increase their professional competences and personal development in order to impact favourably on their future employment prospects whilst also upskilling the UK sports sector. Everything is Possible aimed to prioritise young people with fewer opportunities in order to expand their horizons and increase their self confidence. A further aim of the project was to promote continuous professional development of staff. Being able to promote international opportunities through job shadowing not only motivates employees but helps employers with staff recruitment and retention as well as developing teaching and training methods to be disseminated in their own organisation. International staff were offered the opportunity to promote their activities to UK partners in order to strengthen international colloboration and promote inclusion as well as jobshadowing their international counter parts to learn new methods of teaching and new techniques relevant to their field.
