Background

The Placement Factory objectives are: - To provide opportunities for learning mobilities which are relevant, of high quality and well supported. - To contribute to the development of better cooperation between the world of education and training and the world of work. - To foster and promote best practise, innovation and cooperation between education and training providers and other stakeholders. - To promote Global Citizenship values and promote intercultural awareness. - To provide quality opportunities for English language development The context in which we operated at the time of applying to the grant was very much impacted by BREXIT and the UK deciding to leave the European Union. The negotiations were only starting at the time of our application and the impacts this would have on freedom of movement were totally unknown. We applied to this grant programme as we saw 2020 in particular as the year to explore new possibilities, new ways of co-operating with our existing European partners and expand our range of services.
