In the WoW project, we aimed to: Enhance educational offerings, broadening horizons for students and staff. Foster learning and knowledge sharing with similar institutions Europewide. Attract more students and partners to expand our network. Provide richer, inspiring experiences for staff and learners. Develop and nurture collaborations within the consortium and with hosting partners. Expand VET areas, involving hospitality and forestry sectors. Mainstream Erasmus+ opportunities, recognizing experiential learning. Continue sharing good practices with Light on the Path for student and staff mobility. Build new relationships, broadening our professional networks. Foster a feeling of belonging to Europe within our participants Build participants' knowledge of the culture and working practices in each participating country and organisation The WoW project successfully promoted international mobility, collaboration, and a passion for learning. Our consortium partners' dedicated efforts reflect our commitment to quality education, intercultural learning, and international cooperation. We seek to build on this foundation in future endeavours if we can find alternative funding sources now that Erasmus+ is no longer available.
Wide Open World in Europe project sought to give ambitious learners in hairdressing, horse care, dairy management and hospitality the chance to open up their world by getting to know another country through working and learning with a group of their peers from home and groups of peers from partner countries .Due to previous exposure to Erasmus+ with incoming students some learners had gained an interest in learning and working abroad, but until now, had not had that chance. The consortium partners knew how powerful Erasmus Mobilities are for driving personal and professional growth, & broadening horizons. We sought to make European exchanges an integral part of the organisations’ offer, and to use this project to introduce the learners to working in Europe so they could progress to making their own connections. Taking a holistic supportive approach to the learners intended to give them many opportunities to build on their learning experience. The aim was that learners & staff have a fantastic growth experience, making connections, gaining insights & perspectives, learning new skills & become valued ambassadors at home – sharing across the consortium's, networks & events via their organisations, their own contacts & social media
