Student independence with a focus on developing strong work ethics while immersed in cultural exchanges. All partners and hosts offered an international flavour to vocational training that would benefit the students and the host organisations. We wanted to achieve the outcome that career development and enhancing applications for the world of work and next steps towards university or further training would raise aspirations and raise standards in a competitive arena.
We originally applied for this project to expand social and vocational Mobility of students who would not normally receive any opportunities to travel and study overseas. As we are an inclusive College with a broad vocational offer, we wanted to explore partnerships with existing partners and develop new ones. And, at the same time open doors to the possibilities for young people to succeed.
