Our organizational mission is to ensure disadvantaged learners furthest from the labour market have the support and motivation to learn new skills, develop different attitudes and access the labour market confident that they can make a valuable contribution. The mobility met five outcomes which we identified will benefit the learners and staff but also contributes to our European Plan by making our current VET course more relevant to the labour market 1. GREATER INTEGRATION OF DISADVANTAGED YOUNG PEOPLE INTO THE WORK FORCE. 2.INCREASED INTER CULTURAL AWARENESS AND UNDERSTANDING between disadvantaged young people and adults within the EU. 3.INCREASED COMPETENCIES FOR LEARNERS AND A DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNICAL SKILLS. 4. IMPROVED STAFF COMPETENCY. 5. IMPROVED PROFESSIONAL NETWORKING and transferring of learning. As our partner in Romania is an established VET provider, we have an opportunity to continue to develop a strategic relationship with them and the Municipal in which the organisation is based.
As part of our European Development Plan 2016-2021 we wanted to expand our VET community and attract and benefit those at the furthest reaches of the employment market with particular reference to Our course in "Introduction to Sports Coaching" As part of reviewing our course "Introduction to Sports Coaching" we realised that there are 5 main areas that we wanted to focus on: 1.Provide exposure to diversity to the student cohort and Provide Work experience within a multi linguist/cultural work force, especially those coming from the former Eastern European countries, 2. This mobility allows Learners to participate in delivering sport and recreation services in models other than public or private business models. 3.To allow Learners the opportunity to compare and contract how other countries determine National Policy in relation to sport and physical health and how this is then rolled out Nationally . 4. To provide exposure to the idea of enviromental concern and physical activity and utilising outdoor spaces for exercise 5.Provide experience of targeting difficult to reach groups to encourage them to engage more in healthy lifestyles
