This project wanted to provide young VET learners (18-25 years old) with valuable work experience at organisations in Spain and Portugal who promote and develop communities and education. We wanted to enable participants to apply their training in community development and teaching to a relevant work environment and develop soft skills. It aimed to advance linguistic skills and cultural awareness, valued by UK employers and key to accessing employment within the European labour market. The project had European Added Value by promoting inclusion and cultural awareness. Participants from a range of backgrounds strengthened their independence, communication skills and ability to adapt.
B3st is continuously seeking to enhance its quality development and internationalisation. In certain aspects, the organisation already has key infrastructure in place, such as the foreign language competencies of our staff and support systems for learners. A key aspect of this is our commitment to quality, creating opportunities for young people, developing international reach and cooperation with other training providers, and extending ECVET by supporting recognition of current and new courses. We use the ten principles of the European Quality Charter for Mobility as guidance to ensure our delivery of mobilities is set to a consistently high standard
