A particular focus will be placed on future skills including propulsion systems and digitalisation. Sharing their new knowledge and passing on new skills developed.

Background

Bentley Motors VET Mobility project for learners and staff 2020 aims to support Apprentices, Graduates and training staff from the company, along with accompanying persons, the chance to study and work at our partner organisations with which we have close links. We were also hoping to build new link with Seat. A total of 25 learners and 10 staff will be given the opportunity to develop their competencies and knowledge of training and learning in a different culture and environment, and see new and innovative ways of approaching their VET learning or training design. Apprentices, Graduates and training staff will visit Porsche, VW and Audi to gain an insight into the training and teaching techniques used at these organisations with which Bentley already has established links. The intention is to further enhance and solidify these collaborative environments, creating networks which allow a long term and sustainable platform for cross-brand cooperation in the realm of VET training and learning. Building on previous successful mobility projects across brand partners, it was the hope the 2020 project would deliver a strong and sustainable platform which allow trainees and staff to continue to visit and learn from our partner organisations for years to come. It was also hoped that a number of mobility placements bring best practice in VET teaching and learning back to the company to develop and enhance the experience for all VET learners and staff at the company.
