The youth exchange idea came from the common problems of all the partner countries- the young people`s addiction to technology, smartphones, social media which is extremely increasing, less and less physical activity and sport, addiction to fast food. Those problems became even more alarming and valid in the COVID19 outbreak due to the social distancing and isolation and our topic became even more needed, especially in relation to mental health. With the project first of all we wanted to raise awareness among young people about healthy lifestyle and the importance of physical activities and sport both for the body and mind. The project aimed at providing participants with the learning platform to discuss this topic in an informal way-not trough lectures, books or educational movies which usually are quite boring for the youth but also to engage them in a transformative way. Especially in the covid19 pandemic, with the project we aimed at raising awareness on importance of sport, self care and mental health as part of the generic health term. We wanted to stimulate participants to be more aware and informed on healthy lifestyle topic and its different elements-such as nutrition/types of food and nutrients/; physical activity and sport as part of healthy lifestyle and its benefits; mental health; but we also aimed at encouraging them to make a change-to rethink their own healthy habits, learn to listen to their bodies and minds and take care of them. We wanted to give young people an alternative to the modern digital world-to give them a chance to connect to their inner selves, connect to their minds and bodies and to the nature in order to feel the need to change. Project objectives: -to promote healthy lifestyles among young people, giving them the opportunity to understand its importance and benefits for the individual, but also for the society - To address the need for physical activity, sport and outdoor activities; -connect youth with nature, encouraging outdoor activities as an alternative to social media usage and digitization -to present the variety and outdoor activities as a fun alternative for leisure thus to make sport activities and healthy nutrition easily attractive and implemented in one's daily life.
