The world and life of the human beings is transforming in a very rapid way. In line with the development of technologies, behavioral and societal changes, all the fields of the activities are passing through massive changes, reaching new forms and evolving further. This breakthrough of current developments is creating both challenges and opportunities for young people. All these changes are affecting both the environments on community and global levels, where young people have to conduct their activities, and besides creating diversions on personal level. Consequently, the field of social entrepreneurship (SE) is rapidly developing. It is a great tool for personal development, social transformation, solving social challenges and issues, creating social value and making difference in other people’s lives. The success of the SE activities though, completely lies on the level it can identify and meet the specific need of customers and target audience, accordingly offer a product / service, effectively put it grounds on the market, and successfully realize it products, services, ideas. And from the other side ensuring maximum social impact it can generate for their communities and target groups. Nevertheless, there are many SE initiatives going on, and the sphere is affecting more and more the way of functioning of civil society organizations, who are becoming active actors in this field and educating & guiding young people in their initiatives, but there are several main questions to be targeted by youth workers. One is ideation of the SE idea itself. How to generate an idea, which is fitting to our team’s potential to the most, solving an important issue, and is profitable at the same time? And equally important, how to have an idea, which is needed not just at this period of time, but which will be actual for a long-term period? Or even how to tap on some opportunity, which is not born yet, but is going to emerge in the future? And the other aspect is related to business model generation, which is currently mostly being done with the traditional business modelling tools. But as the education of SE is rapidly increasing, especially in non-formal education sector, hence youth workers need to adapt new approaches, tools and methods in their work in this field. The social impact, beneficiaries, the issue to be solved and other main aspects of social entrepreneurship needs to be targeted in business modeling and be in equilibrium along with the business aspects. Hence the overall aim of the training course (TC) is to provide new tools and methods to youth workers, who will firstly understand on practical level, how to use them, and furtherly use in their work in social entrepreneurship education. For supporting ideation process several theories and methodologies will be used (including Foresight Methodology; Theory U; Design Thinking Methodology). As for the business model generation, a new framework (based on CANVAS model) will be employed, which was adapted for social entrepreneurship sector, and developed in the framework of EU funded project. The specific objectives of the TC are as following: -To equip youth workers and leaders from Program and EECA Partner countries with the competences to become innovative educators in social entrepreneurship field; -To build up competences and acquire tools in relevant fields (especially ideation and SE business model generation) needed for social entrepreneurship and sustainable social initiatives furthermore to address it in the work with their target groups; -To provide innovative tools such as Theory U, Design Thinking, Social Enterprise Modeling for sustainable future development at personal and professional level (as entrepreneurs and mindful citizens), at organizational level (to ensure sustainability in initiating and implementing social enterprises), and at international partnership level (via mutual actions and projects). -To form a network among like-minded organizations and individuals with an interest in long-term cooperation in the field of the training. -To make available the project’s results for large network of stakeholders, youth workers and young people.
