The objectives of the project were aligned to our European Internationalisation strategy, through which we had identified 5 key goals. We applied for this project in response to the continued demand for placements across our growing UK partner network and through our direct recruitment of young people. Our placements were aligned to specific vocational courses, giving participants the opportunity to develop technical and soft skills whilst contributing to broader employability skills development, such as communication in the workplace, interview technique and CV writing. We wanted to offer opportunities to a diverse range of young people, based in different regions of England, in order to broaden opportunities for those that need them most.
