This project was shifted several times due to the war. We had to carry out the project in Armenia and we chose it because it has a similar environment and became relevant in the field of open youth work inn the region there. The partners are very experiences and also well known from our previous projects. It is not easy to take over a project from Russia to Armenia in such a war situation we have at the moment but we made it with all the planned objectives and activities we wanted to do in Russia. Project description: Today, the most relevant field for the development and activities of modern socially active youth is the non-governmental sector. It is civil society that can provide young people with a wide range of opportunities: from participating in local events and helping to solve social problems of a particular region to international project activities and the possibility of obtaining international non-formal education. Unfortunately, it is worth recognizing that the development of civil society in some countries has not reached the level that would cover the high interest of local youth in the rights and opportunities that young representatives of civil society in Europe have. We, in turn, believe that involving young people in the activities and development of the non-governmental sector will help in solving the key socio-economic problems that are relevant for the global community. Thus, implemented a study visit in Armenia, during which colleagues from Europe and neighborhood will be able to visit this country, talk about the organization of civil society work of youth and the culture of other countries, share experiences and best practices, and tell the youth about the rights and the opportunities that young people in other countries and especially in Europe have. The main goal is to increase the level of key competencies of youth workers in the field of civil society and youth; promote their active participation in the democratic life of Europe and to pass on to young people. To achieve this goal, we set the following objectives: • To study the organization of work of Caucasian and European civil society; • to carry out an international exchange of experience and best practices among civil society organizations working with youth or organized by youth; • to increase the level of awareness of youth about the rights and opportunities that youth of other countries possess; • to establish strong cultural, diplomatic and friendly relations between the participants • to develop an intercultural understanding and sense of belonging to the world youth community among young people • to establish a wider international network where we can learn from each other • to encourage young organizations to apply for projects and give them competences to do so - contribution to the socio-economic problems facing modern youth - to promote participation in democratic life in Europe and around is something we want to initiate and spread over the area in order to give the voice also to the youth and to encourage them to take stage. - ecucation session for E+ YIA -> deeper knowledge MAIN OBJECTIVES • Share realities of youth in the different countries and regions we represent, with a focus on the common challenges such as UNEMPLOYMENT, still MIGRATION, climate change and DEMOCRATIC LIFE • Compare realities and exchange practices in civil society -> ACTIVE CITIZENSHIP, YOUTHWORK in the different countries and regions we represent • Excursions, meetings and study visits to get to know the reality of youth, civil society and youth work • Practice tools in civil society activism and youth work: dialogue, social inclusion and solidarity, in particular through increased learning mobility opportunities for young people that leads to • Partnershipbuilding and foster follow-up projects on local and international level, with a focus on ERASMUS+ • Ensuring a strong dimension of transfer of competences and learning points after the international meeting, as well as a widespread dissemination and multiplication of the results -> also with tools of DIGITAL YOUTH WORK which nowadays got a push and leaded already to more competences in this sector which helped even more in the international youth work field. • gain more recognition by stakeholders -> dissemination; • share of good practices will be important in this study visit We couldn't do the seminars and training sessions we wanted to do in Sochi and the environment was a total different one and with Armenia we talk the same international language if it comes to ERASMUS+ which wouldn't have been the case when we would have gone to Russia. We know that it was already difficult to talk about democracy before the war.
