Training Course New world, new mindset, new start: let’s explore through agripreneurship and argotherapy was a one stage project aiming to convey wisdom and knowledge of agriculture and entrepreneurship, known as agripreneurship (AE) in combination with agrotherapy and healthy food among youth workers. We believe that in the current situation taking into consideration economic crises and post-pandemic world is a great chance to make a restart. Have a new approach to the problems that are named as the main challenges of modern society. We share the idea of the economist Nicole Goldine that “youth unemployment is not a new problem, nor one that can be immediately solved. Much has been studied and said about the range of longer-term public and private sector policy and programmatic options to improve the odds for the young generation - i.e. skills training, public works, start-up entrepreneurial credit to wage subsidies, etc.” At the same time World health organization takes the impact of the crisis on people’s mental health very seriously and is monitoring the situation together with national authorities, while providing information and guidance to governments and the public. Dr. Hans Henri P. Kluge, WHO Regional Director for Europe says that needs of our mental health such as “anxiety and fears should be acknowledged and not be ignored, but better understood and addressed by individuals, communities and governments”. So, through this project, we wanted to play our part and tackle the problem of youth unemployment and their mental health with their active involvement in non-formal learning as a step towards the more sustainable post-crisis world. We believe that the future depends on what we do today (Mahatma Gandhi). We believe gaining competences in agropreneurship and agrotheraphy (and not only) is the step towards the wellbeing of individuals and communities. As experts say agripreneurship is the future of farming. The word builds itself from entrepreneurship and agriculture. Agripreneurship is running a business in the agriculture sector. An agripreneur is a person who starts, organizes and manages a business relative to agriculture. One of the major misconceptions comes across is that the youth believe agriculture is still an old- fashioned industry. In reality, access to technology, information, and better communication. We believe that a good entrepreneur is an innovator, but also someone willing to learn and train. The concept of agrotherapy might sound relatively new and complex but actually their practices are simple and ancient. Farms on monasteries and other places have long been places in many cultures where people have gone for both physical and mental relief and healing. Farming exists to satisfy our need to eat and drink but next to this farming can also help deal with depression, passivity, and other forms of psychological suffering.
