The youth exchange project "Accept and Respect" involves six organizations from six different countries (Belgium, Croatia, Hungary, Greece, Armenia, and Georgia). It was planned to implement the project from 20th to 29th May 2021 in Kobuleti, Georgia. However, due to Covid-19, the project was postponed. In December 2021, it was mutually decided by the consortium that the new dates for the project implementation will be from 1st - 10th of April 2022. The main aim of this project is to promote equality and non-discrimination among young people. We aim to break stereotypes, overcome hate speech, and fight discrimination. With the help of a Youth exchange, we want to raise awareness of the rights among the youth, empower them to recognize and stand up against discrimination, and enable them to contact relevant institutions to seek legal or other appropriate remedies. We want to achieve a great impact on the participants with respect to the following: - Learn how to communicate with others using non-violent communication; - Exchange knowledge and examples of good practices in an international group of young people; - Improve knowledge about other cultures, religions, and countries; - Develop and improve communication skills in English; - Promote youth intercultural dialogues and universally shared values; - Rise solidarity and tolerance through intercultural dialogues; - Overcome stereotypes and intolerance; We wanted to have an impact on the indirect target group too, by using the power of social media and organizing workshops about discrimination and intolerance for the local youth and building an international network of Youth against discrimination (Facebook group/page or other social networks).
