Objectives

We created this concept, convinced of the urgent need for a new, different form of support for the youth community. This conclusion is a result of meetings with young people immediately before the creation of the project. Fulfilling the main goal of the project, we focused the attention of young people on 6 of the identified 17 sustainable development goals, which are the subject of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all member states of the United Nations. The six topics on which the participants worked were: Quality education; Action against climate change; Responsible consumption and production; Pure water; Good health and well-being; Life on Earth. We emphasized the essence of the document AGENDA 2030. This document is essentially a shared plan for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and in the future, which in the new realities (world pandemic, post-pandemic period, and war in Ukraine) turned out to be an exact hit in the core of young people's interests and naturally provokes their activity, initiative, desire to be involved in project activities and social inclusion in general. Throughout the duration of the project, we viewed the Sustainable Development Goals as an urgent call to action by all countries in a global partnership. Through this perspective, young people received their first sense of responsibility towards the community and humanity. In this regard, the activities carried out unconditionally led to: • an increased degree of personal initiative and entrepreneurship (level 8.5 on a scale from 0 to 10, established through the online survey and research platform www.sli.do) young people were encouraged to act at the local and national level; • an increased degree of public activism and the ability to assert a civic position on issues related to natural resources (level 8.3 on a scale from 0 to 10, determined through the online survey and research platform www.sli.do); • declared by all participants a feeling of more confidence in their own possibilities for real impact on processes that depend on managerial and political will; • increased level of knowledge in various spheres, subjects of high public interest in terms of technology, recycling, and circular economy (level 8.6 on a scale from 0 to 10, established through an online survey and survey platform www.sli.do); young people improved their competences and gained key knowledge on the topics covered by the project; • an increased degree of personal motivation to participate in future (formal/informal) education for a deeper knowledge of the project topics (level 7.8 on a scale from 0 to 10, established through the online survey and research platform www.sli.do); • an improved degree of personal ability to create and manage online information campaigns; • a feeling of freer communication and better foreign language competencies declared by all participants (level 9.8 on a scale from 0 to 10, established through an online survey and research platform www.sli.do); • at least two times higher level of intercultural awareness (level 10 on a scale from 0 to 10, established through the online survey and research platform www.sli.do); Therefore, we believe that throughout the implementation period we have adhered to the set goals and fulfilled them with the highest possible degree of contribution that the project added to all youth development, construction, and sustainability policies.
