Objectives

The main purpose of intercultural exchange is to highlight the central role of young people by giving them the opportunity to express their emotions in terms of the personal and social changes that are taking place, emphasising intercultural communication through applied art tools and providing the opportunity for participants to become familiar with a model of peaceful and tolerant cohabitation, without any form of violence, discrimination and radicalism that can "transfer" to their cultures. Applied art will be the instrument giving them this opportunity. Art is an extremely powerful unifying tool in working with young people from different cultural groups with different national and cultural identities, as well as creative and free expression of the personality, including focusing on significant societies and political issues. Participants will communicate in mixed international and intercultural teams, analysing, creating and expressing themselves through various techniques and forms of applied art. The specific objectives of the project are: 1. To increase participants' awareness of shared values and to encourage young people's critical thinking and sense of initiative; 2. To improve participants' ability to communicate peacefully in an intercultural environment and to embrace cultural diversity as an element that promotes diversity, makes the world diverse, and breaks our thinking beyond established cultural norms; 3. To stimulate creative and innovative practices for conducting peaceful intercultural dialogue and cultural awareness, in which aggression and radicalism do not exist as a way of thinking and a norm of behaviour, and the topic of social inclusion is on the agenda. 4. Promote intercultural and inter-religious dialogue, the idea of shared values of freedom, tolerance and respect for human rights.
