Objectives

TC is aimed at 25 youth workers from 5 countries, wishing to improve their work within skills related to social entrepreneurship, innovation in rural entrepreneurship and models for the inclusion of disadvantaged people. Entrepreneurship is very important for the European economy. It has one of the highest labor mobility rates, permitting discussion of the emergence of a truly European economic sector and a labor market with a truly European dimension. Nevertheless, the skills shortage in youth entrepreneurship jobs is putting at real risk employment in the sector. Thus, the identification of skill needs for the sector in Europe has a particular significance. Having in mind the urgency of sustainable development in our societies, the idea behind this project is to empower youth workers and their organizations to support social and environmental responsibility, saving, and optimizing resources. During 7 days, on 01-07 October 2020, in Smolyan, Bulgaria, youth workers develop and share a set of tools, best practices and innovative models of social entrepreneurship for facilitating the development of sustainable youth entrepreneurship in rural areas, by fostering a community involvement (with various degrees of experience, professional and educational background) and underlining methods and techniques to raise the level of awareness in European countries towards a more inclusive society. The main aim of the TC is to share best practices, increase skills in terms of entrepreneurship, management, ICT, marketing, sustainability in entrepreneurship, and engagement of communities and find a path for youth workers to propose new and innovative ways to promote inclusive and sustainable growth. The participation in mobility will help enhance the professional skills of the students and their motivation for active involvement in the learning process and the use of the opportunities offered to upgrade their knowledge and skills. The project focuses on the link between the economic phenomenon " Entrepreneurship" and youth work, thus supporting the social and professional development of young people. Entrepreneurship is an opportunity for young people to find innovative solutions to major social problems, to realize their potential, and assert their identity. It is also one of the tools for the sustainable fight against youth unemployment and social exclusion of young people. The project aims to prepare youth workers to apply the concept of entrepreneurship in their organizations and communities by developing their entrepreneurial skills and competencies. Furthermore, the project aims to identify the entrepreneurial potential of people and organizations involved in the project to provide participants with examples of successful businesses developed by young social entrepreneurs, develop knowledge about the process of development of the enterprise. During the training, the participants will plan how to transfer entrepreneurial skills and practices to young people they work with. It will support young people in their personal and professional development, facilitate their social inclusion. 25 youth workers and future entrepreneurship multipliers, of working in inspirational learning and sharing context, using interactive non-formal methods as role-plays, simulations, and drama methods, mime, workshops, peer learning, graphic facilitation, storytelling, debates, social media applications. The synergies inside the new Network of Multipliers and international stakeholders in entrepreneurship will work to create new methods and tools for raising awareness of youngsters for entrepreneurship participation in their local community and beyond and their active role in fighting unemployment. As a result of the project, we will create a dossier that will contain a set of guidelines aimed at sharing best practices on the topics of sustainable development, social entrepreneurship and empowerment of rural/disadvantaged communities. The aim of this dossier is to provide inspiration and concrete examples of implementing skills and ideas; it will be shared and it can be used by communities and other NGOs interested in transferring skills and methodologies to other communities, regions, and countries. We will also create an online platform, using Facebook or other kinds of social/web support and we will include an adequate number of attendants. It will serve as a space for discussion and a virtual room to share ideas, tools, and best practices. The platform will work at an international level. The newly developed tools can be a base, with the dossier in which they will be collected, for the future of youth workers and communities involved in the project.
