Objectives

From Office to Online is a project coordinated by the Center for European Initiatives (Stara Zagora, Bulgaria), which aims to improve the competencies of youth organizations in Europe to adapt their organizational life and priority activities to work in a crisis, offering online services for their target groups. In this project we partner with 8 other organizations from program countries and partner countries (Portugal, Romania, Italy, Lithuania, the Republic of Northern Macedonia, Armenia, Tunisia and Ukraine) and aim to train a total of 18 youth workers, 2 from each participating organization. The goals of the project are: 1. Renewal and improvement of the competencies of youth non-profit organizations in providing online services for their target groups. 2. Increasing the capacity of non-governmental organizations to implement entrepreneurial ideas. 3. Creating prerequisites for rethinking the role of youth organizations in a crisis and defining a new agenda to ensure financial sustainability and maintain jobs for youth professionals  4. Empower NGOs to support young people living in remote areas as well as in smaller settlements, to advise them on overcoming the challenges they face in a crisis situation. 5. To improve understanding of the social, linguistic and cultural differences that arise when working online. 6. To create a more modern and professional environment in organizations: readiness to integrate new and quality practices and methods in the way of work. Participants are expected to promote the idea of lifelong learning, especially with opportunities such as open online courses (MOOCs), expert bloggers and other online resources. Participants will acquire basic skills in online communication, remote conflict management, remote teamwork, in particular in asynchronous teams, intercultural competence, time management, self-motivation and other essential skills in the implementation of online services and products.
