The focus of the project activities is on young people, given the psychological characteristics of this age group, which is characterized by increased interest in getting to know themselves, their strengths and weaknesses, and acquiring skills for successful interaction with the outside world. During this period, young people are on the verge of making important decisions about their future and will face significant changes related to continuing education and / or starting a job, which inevitably come with entering a new social environment. This, in turn, places high demands on their flexibility and adaptability. The main task during the youth exchange will be to discuss the main difficulties in creating conditions and opportunities for raising awareness, level of education, professional knowledge and skills, job opportunities, participation in young people's social life. Specific knowledge and skills of young people will be analyzed, such as communication skills, skills for presenting interviews, writing documents for employment, which will help young people to be more competitive in the local labor market: • with the knowledge of the available information sources on the issues of European integration, the young people will develop habits for searching and consulting information, which will support their development and awareness. • with the conducted role-plays aimed at raising the civic culture, the knowledge of young people, members of different types of associations, will be formed, which will help to intensify their participation in socially significant processes. The topic of the project is mainly related to the fight against poverty and unemployment from the point of view of young people. The urgency of the problem is of great interest to young people on the one hand because of their personal development and, on the other, because of the social dimension of the issue. The project seeks to increase European youth's involvement in poverty and marginalization through effective and focused citizenship. The exchange is aimed at addressing one of the main problems of modern society - the professional realization of young people, as a major factor for the future economic development and prosperity of the countries of the old continent. The exchange will bring together participants from 4 European countries (Bulgaria, Italy, UK and Poland), which will be a prerequisite for achieving significant cultural diversity in an atmosphere of tolerance and teamwork. The active realization of the goals of the project will provoke the active position of young people in all spheres of social life and especially in the fight against unemployment. Young people will have the opportunity to get acquainted with different opportunities for professional development through a variety of non-formal teaching methods. At the same time, they will discover their own strengths and start looking for ways to develop them, which in turn will increase their chances of finding the desired job.
