The Youth4Youth project is the result of the observation and evaluation of the team of NC Future Now 2006 on the field of youth initiatives and non-formal education. For young people, wishing to contribute to their community and youth inclusion, the expanding field of youth work often represents a messy landscape of opportunities . In the meantime non-formal learning is gaining popularity and is becoming more closely associated with youth work, but at the same time developing a worrying tendency to use tools and activities that are out of context and lacking lasting efficiency due to the inadequate awareness of the users. Through the "Youht 4 Youth" project, we want to influence the link between youth leaders, youth initiatives and non-formal education by giving young people wishing to develop in the field of volunteering, youth initiatives, education and social work the opportunity to learn about the principles, mechanisms and capabilities of youth work. Also, to enter the basic principles, beliefs and approaches of non-formal learning. We believe that this will contribute to the development of youth leadership by supporting the motivation and willingness of a group of young people to develop into working with children and young people with real knowledge and skills and to develop their positive attitude towards self-improvement and development of personal qualities and skills. The main goal of the project is to provide young people with a broad view of the field of youth inclusion and to create a positive attitude towards the application of the principles of non-formal learning to the development of key competences and the personal development of youth. To achieve this, the project has the following specific objectives: • Create conditions in which young people wishing to develop in the field of youth work freely explore and analyze the needs of professional and personal development of youth and the mechanisms to meet these needs; • To give young people the opportunity to experience the effects of informal methods of self-study and personal development; • Create a positive attitude towards the development of soft skills and strengths in youth through non-formal learning methods; • Provide knowledge about the methods and practices of non-formal learning and how they can be applied in youth work, formal and non-formal learning of young people; • To support participants in the use of practical tools of informal learning methods for developing key competences in youth.
