All participating countries and communities were participants came from were facing similar problem of intolerance, social exclusion, prejudice or judgemental approach towards people of different culture, religion, ethnicity, etc. in their communities. Reasons behind were various: - Very little interaction with people from other cultures (fear of them) due to place young people live in (rural areas), having no money to travel, being unaware of other options to learn and travel that are accessible (e.g. E+). - Judgemental instant approach to different people due to stereotypes in their enclosed communities, historical reasons (e.g. history of Lithuania and Russia, Hungarians and Slovaks, etc.) Therefore, our goal was to increase social inclusion in 5 communities and further by equipping participants from 5 countries and communities with competences to build intercultural dialogue through visual arts. Objectives that were achieved: - Raised awareness in 5 communities about intercultural problems and influenced attitudes of participants to the positive side towards people of different culture, country, ethnicity and religion. - Increased competences of young participants from 5 countries and communities in creating visual art as a powerful method and tool for building intercultural dialogue and fostering social inclusion. - Broadened outlook of participants by fostering their values of freedom, tolerance, respect for others and sense of belonging to their communities and European community.
