The main aim of Fyziklani International was to encourage students to continue studying physics (or related sciences) and to provide them with new information (and the means to acquire it) to which they have limited access during their secondary school studies, as it goes significantly beyond the standard curriculum. The project was designed to enable young people to form new friendships that can continue to accompany and enrich them not only at university but also for the rest of their lives. As part of the relationship building, the intention was to establish international contacts useful for further cooperation. One of the aims of the project was also to facilitate the students' participation in the international Physics competition, mainly by minimising their travel costs. Last but not least, the project also aimed to introduce students to scientific research in foreign countries, to improve their awareness of the culture in other countries, to enhance their pro-European spirit and to improve their communication skills in English through various socialization activities. The goal was to support 60 young people and their leaders, initially from a total of 7 countries.
