By implementing this project, first of all, we have changed attitudes of young participants about growing up in rural area of both young people who are from there but also young people from urban environments, and by working together we found effective tools to debunk and reduce existing myths and stereotypes of youth living in rural areas. We also aimed to increase self-confidence of youth who are living in rural areas and support them to develop needed competences for smoother integration to bigger communities as majority of our participants were from rural areas and about to leave to study to bigger cities or were already studying and working in urban environments and struggling with full integration. Finally, one of the reasons why young people consider living in rural areas as disadvantage is that there is less opportunities, events, gatherings, workshops, etc. happening. Therefore, we aimed to show examples of alternatives ways and options how a young person can contribute to his or her personal and professional development – online resources and communities, online mentoring, E+ opportunities.
