The Youth Exchange "EnviroMan" was carried out October 25th - 30th 2022 in Sedmihorky. The main mission of this Youth Exchange was to raise awareness about environmental issues, especially among young generations and spread the idea of sustainable living, ecological lifestyle, moderate food consumption, and conscious recycling best practices to reduce waste and the problems associated with its disposal. The project's aim was to foster young people’s creativity and problem-solving skills, individual values, sense of responsibility and initiative, trust, confidence, and knowledge of their own limits. young people were encouraged to take their own initiative in their lives and turn their own ideas into action. The learning methods of the project were non-formal learning and field visits. These activities included team-building, simulations, role plays, debates, working groups, evaluation sessions and performances, site and project visits as well as Youthpass self-reflection. The starting point of the Youth Exchange was a reflection on the topic and the policies implemented in different countries to increase awareness about ecological practices. The second part of the project involved active engagement with the local community (sites and projects visited at local farms and manufacturers). Local stakeholders were involved in the whole learning process.
