Forgetfulness was a common problem experienced by many people. Dementia, which lead to forgetfulness and lack of concentration in the 60-year-old and older group, had now being seen in young people. Although did not yet defined as a disease, the digital dementia symptom had become one of the most important health threats of our time. In a study conducted in South Korea, it was found that forgetfulness and concentration losses seen in 60 years and older groups started to be seen in the 30s starting from adolescence. Although forgetfulness was generally thought to be seen in older people, memory problems have increased in young people and middle-aged individuals in recent years. Children and adolescents who spent time with computers, video games, television and smartphones from an early age when the brain did not complete maturation would face serious mental problems as they couldn’t use the close memory which plays an important role in the development of the mind. Strengthening long-term and short-term memory would help individuals and especially young people to have a more successful career while preventing dementia. In addition to the positive aspects of the digital world, it had negative effects. Digital devices made our lives easier, but prevented us from memorizing, we recorded everything on the phone and computer, but we couldn’t even reach a person we wanted to reach when our phone or technological device wasn’t with us. Experts were indicating that excessive and unconscious smart phone, computer, internet and technological tools due to the use of digital dementia symptoms in young people could be seen says that the young age group complaining about forgetfulness by saying ''am I even alzheimer?'' ''Is there a problem?'' gradually increased. According to the experts who noted that symptoms of digital dementia could be seen due to excessive use of smartphones, computers, technological devices and the internet, digital dementia is thought to be caused by excessive use of the Internet, video games and smartphones. In order to prevented digital addiction and dementia, many macro and micro projects were being carried out on a local and national basis. However, these projects and awareness studies could not eliminate the danger, especially the digital addiction of young people could not be controlled. The lack of sufficient impact of the existing projects had led us to search for different solutions. Therefore, our project was not directly aimed at combating digital addiction. Instead, we planed to combat the mental effects of the digital world to young people through activities that could distract young people from digital addiction and engage their interests in different areas. Young people should have made habits that develop intelligence, because memory showed a long-term development, so young people had to make these activities continuous. Therefore, our project would first focus on raising awareness and then on developing young people's long-term habits. In this context, our aim was to take young people away from technology addiction and direct them to activities that would strengthen their memory. Our objectives were: 1- Providing youth with new memory booster hobbies 2- Raising awareness of young people about the damages of technology to memory 3- Teaching memory strengthening techniques in young people 4- Introducing the best practices on intelligence development to young people
