To enable young European youth workers to create space and widen the scope for their young people's active participation, embracing Human Rights. The objects of this Seminar were: to enable young European youth workers to create space and widen their scope for the of their young people using Democracy and Human Rights as a basis: "Spielräume – youth work opening spaces for youth participation, exploring & embracing democracy". The Objectives were: 1. To share their own experience, expectations, frustrations and good practice. 2. To be introduced to the Convention on the Rights of the Child and discover the right to participation, 3. To understand how democratic spaces are shrinking and find ways to define and widen them within their communities, 4. To discover "Spielräume" within their youth work experience and how to facilitate access for young people to explore and embrace democracy as active citizens.
