As part of the training course we invited some partner organizations from our East-West-East network to work together on the problems of right-wing extremism and right-wing terrorism, elaborating through the situation in the respective countries, we tried to provide young people with recommendations on how they can counter these tendencies/people who reject the principles of liberal democracy and human rights and favour racist and nationalist views. Which implied consideration of such issues as how and where right-wing extremism and right-wing terrorism arise, what principles and systematics underlie them. In order to ensure the most effective introduction to these topics, the "Pictures of Freedom" training provided participants with basic information and experience on the topics of right-wing extremism and right-wing terrorism from experienced trainers. The main objectives of the project include: 1. Awareness raising at the European level about the experience of right-wing extremism and its impact on the lives of young people. 2. To inform youth workers and young people about how right-wing extremism works and how it affects people. In particular its anti-human aspects. 3. To develop strategies with young people to counter right-wing extremist ideologies to promote the development of European and democratic models. The project was implemented on fundamental European values in order to prevent radicalization of young people. Our goal is to confront ideologies that contradict democratic views and to counter them with values such as freedom, tolerance and respect for human rights. The course also aimed to convey to young people that cultural diversity in European societies solves problems more effectively than a return to national or nationalistic orientations.
