Objectives

With volunteering, people get incredible experiences. They learn about different know-how and new skills. Anyways, most of the time, skills obtained through volunteering events and activities, not always decently credited and recognized. The development of skills through volunteering can be used for the improvement of the employment rate of individuals or personnel development, but this opportunity is scarcely used. Events and activities of non-governmental organizations usually stay on the commitment of volunteers and youngsters who wish to spend their time, passion, and initiative. When it is well managed, volunteering is a victory for all associated stakeholders, including:  Volunteers get soft and hard skills boosting self-confidence and qualification for the labor market;  Non-governmental organizations gain support and extra achievements, which wouldn't be possible to get without the volunteers' devotion;  As well as local population benefits in many different ways related to the specific activities executed by the volunteer. Non-governmental organizations from the EU participating in this project formed a partnership to attain a solution on how to make voluntary work more productive on the national and European level. Even if volunteers are happily involved in civil society initiatives or even their leading force and main implementer, very often, these positive examples don't reach a broader audience since visibility measures for promotion these stories of achievement are not in place or only of limited reach. The principal aim of this partnership is to highlight the significance of volunteering as a thriving pathway for skills development and employment. It should be stated that undergoing a political change process in our societies guided to grow to more democratic communities based on social responsibility and active citizenship, and there is a requirement of assertive examples of enthusiastic cooperation and committed individuals. Another aspect of voluntary work in the EU is the low participants of youngsters with disadvantages or from lower socio-economic backgrounds. Unluckily, in many cases, voluntary work is a thing that is done by highly educated individuals or from a robust economic level. Volunteering can be a "ticket" for future employment and gaining expertise in a particular field of this work. In volunteering organizations, intercultural and interreligious dialogue, foster promotion of diversity, tolerance, values of independence, and respect for human rights addressing socially excluded young people are crucial. By performing this TC, we address the genuine demands and highlight EU values, priorities of Erasmus+ program and provide the skills and methods to youth workers and volunteers of partner organizations for their professional development, including digital work with young people, which are necessary to transfer the common core values of society to hard-to-reach groups of young people. We also to want to prevent radicalization among young people. Therefore, the salient objectives of "YOU-th work and Volunteering" is to:  Conceptualize with the project partners their strategies for volunteering in their work context;  Foster individual and organizational competencies in planning, executing, mentoring and assessing local and international volunteering projects;  Develop an administrative solution for the inclusion of youth in volunteering projects;  Develop organizational schedule and strategy for the most requisite moves in volunteering projects. The training course "YOU-th work and Volunteering" is connected with Erasmus+ Program priorities by aiming at volunteering projects' development to amplify the capacity of youth-based non-governmental organizations and interested companies executing social-based activities and educational programs with the volunteers' involvement. As a result of the magnified abilities in realizing volunteering projects, active citizenship and youth participation are supposed to increase on the local level promoting volunteering and social engagement among youngsters and increasing the recognition of social and local and international activism for community development in urban and rural space. Consequently, "YOU-th work and Volunteering" directly addresses the following preferences of the Erasmus+ Program in the youth sector:  Development of competences of youth workers;  Stimulation of quality advances in youth work;  Strengthening the international aspects of youth activities.
