The aim of this project was to motivate and inspire the participants, who are active in youth work on a voluntary basis, and to enable them to engage cooperatively in groups, to work out topics and goals, to evaluate processes by using methods of theatre education. The participants were to be enabled to lead appropriate theatre pedagogical exercises. The aim was for the participants to deal with different aspects of inclusion and to reflect on their own life situation. They were to gain experience in theatre work and acquire competences on how to work on topics such as inclusion, exclusion, handicap with groups through theatre methods. Whenever young people have new experiences, deal with new topics, get to know people from other countries, as the participants of this youth exchange do, it brings them further in their thinking and acting, it promotes their self-confidence, diverse competences and their general self-reflection ability. The aim was to experience being able to express oneself through theatre. The aim was to develop plays on the theme of inclusion during this youth exchange, which were then performed in public.
