We are the youth of Estonia, Poland, Romania and the Czech Republic. We are the image-centric Generation Z: 90% of the time we communicate with each other non-verbally. That’s why we would like to launch a project focused on visual communication and offering new interpretations of the traditional oral heritage (proverbs) through creative visualization. Our project "Better Late Than Never" connects the past and the future using a number of modern methods. It helps to increase social, as well as intergenerational cohesion, and also gives the participants a great opportunity to express themselves, to challenge the traditional rules and to prove their individuality. Objectives of the project "Better Late Than Never": + Introduce Erasmus+ opportunities to young people. + Recognize the potential of YouthPass, learn to better understand and analyze the eight key competences for lifelong learning. + Show young people cultural, religious, linguistic and social diversity through non-formal learning methods. + To learn to consciously apply natural imagination (creative visualization) in order to achieve better results in education and business in the future. + Strengthen cohesion between generations, increase social cohesion through the collection, analysis and visualization of proverbs. + Through a creative visualization method, learn to make connections and improve knowledge of your culture and folklore, feel your linguistic mentality and the harmonious diversity of other cultures. + Gain experience from conducting an ethnographic project - from data collection, surveys and rewriting to material analysis and archiving. + Expanding and strengthening the cooperation network at local, national and international level. + Change the perception of folk wisdom as something outdated and boring, increase the use of proverbs. + Create at least 8 new visual arts that output the content of proverbs using different visualization techniques. + Create a short video that introduces our project and project results.
