Objectives

With this project, we wanted to empower 40 youngsters with competencies in how to easier go through a period of adolescence and how to share that knowledge with other youth in their communities. As well we wanted to develop a program which can be applicable to the future work of our organizations. The period of adolescence can be difficult and in that path, youth need to be supported. Youth exchange is a great opportunity for self-development, exploring new cultures, seeing different practices, meeting new friends from different countries and learning through innovative methods. The objectives were: - learn about mental and physical health, including reproductive health, and the knowledge and means to sustain health during adulthood. -explore what is human and social capital which enables an individual to be a productive adult member of society. - obtain values and the ability to contribute to the collective well-being as a citizen and community participant. - adequate preparation for the assumption of adult social roles and obligations, including the roles of spouse or partner, parent, and household and family manager. - create the capability to make choices through the acquisition of a sense of self and a sense of personal competence. -create a sense of general well-being. -explore which opportunities the Erasmus+ programme gives to youth in their transition to adulthood. With this project, we empowered 39 young people from 5 partner countries to be productive members of society, and be happy and satisfied with their lives. As well as motivated to continue education and be included in society.
