Objectives

The European Pillar of Social Rights (COM, 2017. 250 final), establishes as the first principle that everyone has the right to an inclusive, quality education, training and lifelong learning, in order to maintain and acquire capacities that allow them to participate fully in society and successfully manage transitions in the labor market (COUNCIL RECOMMENDATION of May 22, 2018). The more successful the young person's competencies, the more options he has, therefore, of effectively inserting himself into the labor market, but what are the competences that make it easier for us to enter the workplace and participate in society in an active and full way? The answer to this question is offered by the current KEY COMPETENCES FOR PERMANENT LEARNING, which we can recognize through the YOUTHPASS. And here we have another question that will be: do youth workers know how to acquire, identify and recognize the CURRENT KEY COMPETENCES? The answer is no. In our experience, that of the partners of this project and that of other organizations that we have asked, in this context, the following needs arise: - Youth workers do not have updated and adequate tools for their young people to acquire key skills, then be identified and subsequently recognized through instruments such as the Youthpass. -Youth workers and partner entities need actions, resources and materials that help reverse the notable unemployment rate of the countries participating in this proposal. - Discover new tools and dynamics to explain and work the certificates of recognition of learning as in this step is the youthpass to get to strengthen the importance of its use among the unemployed population, especially the youth. - Learn to know how to make an updated, fresh, effective and attractive dissemination of learning recognition certificates. These needs are intended to be met through the following general objectives: - Promote and implement the use of European certificates of recognition of learning among youth workers at work with their entities, partners and volunteers. - Provide the youth worker with resources to promote, identify and recognize the key skills of young people, using tools such as the Youthpass and its connection to the Europass. The specific objectives will be: - Learn new strategies and dynamics that allow youth workers to promote young people's key competencies, as well as to design new dynamics for this. - To know in depth the UPDATED Youthpass as a tool to recognize the key competences so that they can use it with the youth of their organizations. Learn to work the certificate in an effective way and connected to the needs of the young person. - Know the connection between Youthpass and Europass so that the acquired skills can be made visible. The objective of our Project is directly related to the objectives that the European Commission establishes for this type of mobility projects, for example: - Support students in the acquisition of learning outcomes (knowledge, skills and competences) with a view to improving their personal development, their participation as active citizens in society and their employability in the European labor market and beyond. - Strengthen synergies and transitions between formal education, non-formal education, vocational training and employment - Contribute to quality and innovation at work in the youth field and its recognition. - Acquire tools and strategies that allow the development of the skills of workers in the field of youth and work in the field of youth; The youth worker will acquire effective methods that reach the marginalized young population and address the risks, opportunities and implications of current needs. - Promote the use of tools to promote the inclusion and employability of young people with fewer opportunities (including ninis) with special emphasis on young people at risk of marginalization and those of migrant origin. We therefore intend that youth workers be able to improve their skills so that they are the drivers of change and impact generators in their organizations and with their youth. Youthpass and Europass are powerful tools to reduce unemployment but you have to know how to use them properly. At present, there are few training courses to use them, so it is necessary to implement this type of initiatives. Youth workers have not only the right but also the obligation to learn to use these tools but there are not enough resources for this to occur.
